Rice cake heart


Sweet shuligao (熟梨糕).


Kind of rice cakes over the noisy steamer. When the cakes are done, you can choose the sweet sauces. I was lucky to get a chocolate heart on my rice cakes.



This school year, this is my last post from China. Next week I'm flying back home in Macedonia.
I'll be back in September and then will continue sharing Chinese hearts.

I have never heard of a sweet topper for rice. It sounds delicious, and has opened up a world of possibilities!!!

I will miss your Chinese hearts, but am looking forward to some Macedonian hearts soon!!! Have a safe trip, heart-sister!!!
